  1. Warm sun rests upon the morning beach
Two hands join at a little one's reach

The cloudless sky brings a promising day
The sandpail and shovel bounce along the way

A little girl runs along the outstretched sand
Her father lets go of her tightly clenched hand

Sea Gulls dance along the glassy water
The smile races back between me and my daughter

  4. I remember the day at the beach

I remember the hot sand burning my feet

I remember how cold the ocean felt

and how my skin seemed to sizzle in the heat

    I remember the boardwalk clamor

I remember how I wanted to eat everything in sight

I remember walking and baking in the hot sun

Even though now it’s still February and gloomy

I remember savoring that summer day

But my favorite memory’s yet to come

  6. Although the distance separates us
    and the people reject us...
I want you to know that I love you
and this month was one of the best.

Even people don't value us or understand us
    I know this will last..
because this is the best ralationship.
Simply I love you, and I want you here with me always.

  12. A special world for you and me
A special bond one cannot see
It wraps us up in its cocoon
And holds us fiercely in its womb.

Its fingers spread like fine spun gold
Gently nestling us to the fold
Like silken thread it holds us fast
Bonds like this are meant to last.

And though at times a thread may break
A new one forms in its wake
To bind us closer and keep us strong
In a special world, where we belong.

  13. A friend is someone we turn to
when our spirits need a lift.
A friend is someone we treasure
for our friendship is a gift.
A friend is someone who fills our lives
    with beauty, joy, and grace.
And makes the whole world we live in
    a better and happier place

  22. When my aunt passed away from cancer.

Seems like it was yesterday when I saw your face
You told me how proud you were, but I walked away
If only I knew what I know today.

There's nothing I wouldn't do to hear your voice again
Sometimes I wanna call you but I know you won't be there.

  23. This is one of the poems i found about families and how they are always there for you.

To be apart of a family like mine
    is so divine
    where love is shown
    hurt is shared

  24. I cant beleive i let him fool me
And of course i fell in his game

Now that i see what this has done to me
From this situation i got nothing to gain

Feel the rage burn inside of me
Like fuel in a trucks engine

But after all hes missing out
He'll regret it like you cant imagine!!!

  34. I agree with Laura, the distance between loved ones is painful at times. Does anyone have a loved one that lives far away from them?
My friends from school have moved on, but it's still fun to chat with them online. I love to visit new places too. Laura, I hope you get to meet up with your family someday soon.
